It's been over a month since I've posted so I'm hoping that all of these pictures make up for it!
It's been 7 years since the Jones family took a family vacation. Ethan was just 4 months old when everyone went to Hawaii. Ethan just turned 7 in December and now has 2 sisters.
When Mike and Sue went to Zihuatanejo, Mexico 2 years ago (just the 2 of them) they came back knowing that they were going to make another family vacation happen and it was going to be there. They just raved about this place and I just thought to myself.. once you've been to Mexico, you've seen it all. Well, I was wrong. Zihuatanejo is so beautiful and pleasant! It's nothing like the other places in Mexico that I've been to and I can't wait to go back someday.
Mitch (left) caught a Sail Fish which was about 90 lbs. Nick caught a Marlin which was about 120 lbs.
Mike, Tim, Mitch, Nick, Ethan and Esmee all went out on a charter boat for the day while the rest of us stayed behind and enjoyed a day at the pool.
From start to finish - the family made it a special day.
Wow. 31 already?
Willa, Esmee, Sue and I all had our hair braided.
We just had to be extra careful about the sunblock on our scalps!
That's a pretty big fish.
Leaving Isla Grande.

Half of a pineapple filled with shrimp, salsa and other stuff. It was very good!

Note to self: These shirts work really well as sunblock for kids.
This was taken on the balcony of our room.
Ahh.. Mitch and Kim.
To get to 2 of the islands that we spent the day at we had to take a boat ride. It was about 35 pesos per person for a roundtrip ticket.
Yes, I am getting into the shower that was attached to our room. Nick and I had the master bedroom which was seperated from the livingroom by shutters!
None of us did.
This was our first dinner in Mexico on the beach.
Nick had pink eye just days before we left for our trip. Even though he had been taking antibiotics for 6 days by the time we left, his eye was still pink and he needed to rock his glasses from High School! Cute, huh?
